If you don't think the world we live in could very, very easily head in this direction, it already has in many ways, you haven't been paying attention. I mean what's more likely; that technology will be used to make the entirety of society's lives better, or that it will be used to as an authoritarian tool in order force never ending productivity, for the elite from the labour of a permanent underclass. And don't get me wrong, I'm not some commie kook, that direction is just an even quicker and bloodier path to authoritarian control where an elite has all the power and money.

Not bad, I wasn't sure if this show was just going to be regurgitated Philip K. Dick ideas with cool anime people, but that thing about how the bullied guy is "useful in relieving a closed society's stress" felt fresh. Guessing the writer or someone he knows didn't have the best of times in Japanese high school in the late 80s

You will see her develop in interesting ways.. for me the characters are more about developing points in a dissertation than about just the character themselves... seeing how their traits mature under their circumstances
